Have you taken a bunch of con-ed courses yet you still find that LBP/sciatica patients are frequently canceling, no-showing & falling off your caseload?

I’m talking about those patients that can’t even get comfortable during the subjective or physical exam.

    EVERYTHING hurts??!🤔

Mckenzie repeated extensions hurt? Traction hurts too? Isn't that supposed to feel good? 🤯

    Really? 🤨

Shouldn’t I know where to start after all the courses I’ve taken?

Or maybe you ARE helping these patients feel better after each session but there’s very little carry over between sessions and you feel like you’re missing something buuttt you just can’t put you finger on it…

    The important questions:

❓Do you have an effective framework that helps you confidently go through the objective exam step by step AND communicate to your patient in a way that makes sense to THEM?

❓Want a framework that helps you filter through the amazing course work & skills you already have so you know which ones do & don’t apply to the patient in front of you right now instead of guessing and hoping for the best?

In this FREE 90-minute webinar I’ll teach you a streamlined framework for evaluating low back pain & sciatica so you can come up with a logical diagnosis, identify exactly where to start treatment, and what to do to help your patients feel better, faster even if you’re pressed for time AND without overthinking it.

“This framework has helped me be more of a sniper instead of a cannon when diagnosing acute AND chronic mechanical low back pain.”

Dr. Brett S. PT, DPT, USAW-1 owner/CEO of Barbell Therapy & Performance

In this FREE 90 min LBP Webinar you’ll discover:

The real reason why even after spending thousands of dollars on con ed courses most PTs still feel stuck with really acute LBP patients and how to avoid such expensive lessons yourself.

One of the biggest mistakes PTs make in the initial stages of LBP plan of cares and how avoiding this can not only keep these patients coming back asking “what’s next” but also referring you more patients.

Why this simple framework works better than any highly complex evaluation that can leave you and your patient feeling overwhelmed and confused during the early stages of the POC without much carry over between sessions.

Please call me "Mez". I'm a Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedics & sports medicine with a passion for strength & conditioning to help athletes & active adults overcome pain holding them back from performance gains.

With a passion for staying curious, continuing education, and teaching I created Spine PT University to serve & educate other Physical Therapists. I’ve been a consultant to a Major League Baseball organization, a private hospital, and various elite athletes ranging from martial artists, runners, weightlifters, and powerlifters. I’ve now partnered with Barbell Therapy & Performance and am currently seeing private clients out of my home gym as an out-of network provider.

After receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I traveled to the west coast to complete a 9 month post Graduate Residency in Neurological Physical Therapy at Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, CA to practice Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) & learn Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) under Stephen Schmidt PT, M.PHYSIO, OCS, FAAOMPT.

After returning back to the east coast, I then completed a 2-year Post Graduate fellowship program at The Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (IOMT) where I underwent extensive orthopedic training in the evaluation and treatment of complex musculoskeletal injuries & orthopedic

          Why this webinar?

When a patient is in an acute episode of low back pain they can be poor historians, making the subjective interview seem chaotic, overwhelming, and disorganized no matter how organized you feeling walking into that eval.

I remember my first few acute LBP evals made me want to puke 🤢 because of how uncomfortable I was.

I wanted to rush through the subjective because of how confusing it was so I could get to the part I was more comfortable with... movement & the objective exam.

But then I got to the objective exam and the patient couldn't even get comfortable... EVERYTHING hurts!? 🤔

How do I document that? Where do I start? Traction hurts too? Isn't that suppose to feel good? 🤯

Should I whip out some pain science 🧠 lectures and hope they get it?

Those were all the questions running through my mind own head 💬 at the time while I was trying to figure out how to help these patients in agony dealing with acute LBP & sciatica.

There's no doubt about it, the patient with acute LBP can be incredibly difficult to manage if you don't have perspective or a process that helps you identify, communicate, and document their specific triggers.

If that is something you struggle with clinically and you frequently find yourself in paralysis by over-analysis mode or "chasing your tail" throughout treatment and your POC... then this FREE 90 minute webinar is for YOU and I can’t wait to see you on the inside.

“This webinar and checklist is great for anyone looking to gain an objective, process oriented understanding of how to better navigate acute presentations of spinal pain. I highly recommend his webinar to any student or clinician looking for informative content and a different perspective on caring for patients.”

          Dr. Matthew J. Bernier, DC
