Spine Therapy Education for Orthopedic Physical Therapists

I teach orthopedic physical therapists how to assess and treat the spine with an “anti-fragile” approach so they can identify exactly where to start treatment to help their patients feel better, faster without overthinking it.

I specialize in making the complexity around spine rehab simple, digestible, and actionable while blending principles from neuro rehab + strength & conditioning.

As a PT & strength coach who LOVES learning and integrating various continuing education models, I know how hard it can be to filter out the noise in our industry to decipher what really matters to help your patient get better.

Should I use McKenzie’s repeated extensions? Or a mulligan mobilization? No, maybe McGill's Big 3 core drills? Or maybe some pain science & nerve glides?... “IS flexion bad for the spine?”

I get how distracting all these questions can be because I’ve been there… and if you can relate, you’re definitely in the right place.

I’ll help you cut through the overwhelm of questions, uncertainty, and frustrations that come with treating back pain so you can get better results for your patients while sparking your creativity and keeping your passion ALIVE.

Spine PT University offers a unique "anti-fragile" approach to spine therapy. This approach will help you identify exactly where to start treatment, saving you time and boosting your confidence in the way you communicate to your patients.

Through my step-by-step programs, you'll learn how to navigate the entire evaluation process, from the subjective interview through the physical exam, and onto strategic treatment planning.

Whether you choose my free content or my paid programs, you will gain the skills and confidence you need to excel in your clinical practice.

I hope you decide to join me in revolutionizing spine assessment, treatment, and communication for faster, more resilient, and sustainable patient recovery.

Hi I’m Ramez, please call me "Mez"!

I’m a husband, a father, and an Egyptian immigrant who fell in love with strength & conditioning (aka “bro-ing” out in the gym) which then led to my obsession integrating neuro & orthopedic physical therapy.

For years, I’ve helped orthopedic & sports medicine Physical therapists like you simplify their approach to assessment, treatment, and progressing their patients back to the gym and high level performance.

One of my superpowers is meeting clinicians where they’re at in their clinical con-ed journey (from new grads to seasoned clinicians & clinic owners) to help them apply & reconcile approaches they once thought were contradicting… i.e the never ending debate of a pain neuroscience approach vs biomechanical approach (can you relate?)

I’ve served as a consultant to a Major League Baseball organization, a private hospital, and various elite athletes ranging from martial artists, runners, weightlifters, and powerlifters.

After receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I traveled to the west coast to complete a 9 month post Graduate Residency in Neurological Physical Therapy at Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, CA to practice Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) & learn Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) under Stephen Schmidt PT, M.PHYSIO, OCS, FAAOMPT.

After returning back to the east coast, I then completed a 2-year Post Graduate fellowship program at The Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (IOMT) where I underwent extensive orthopedic training in the evaluation and treatment of complex musculoskeletal pain & orthopedic problems, specifically back & neck pain.
